Born in Huntsville, Texas and grew up in Dawson, Texas. Attended Dawson ISD for primary and secondary school and graduated from Dawson High School in 2002 as Valedictorian. Moved to Waco, Texas in 2002 to attend Baylor University. Earned Magna Cum Laude honors at Baylor and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a major in Financial Services and Planning. Recognized on Dean’s Academic Honor List every semester while at Baylor. Inducted to Beta Gamma Sigma business school honor society in 2005 and received Outstanding Student in Financial Services and Planning award in 2006 for recognition as top student in major. Moved to Austin, Texas and joined Financial Management Professionals in 2006. Passed the Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam in 2006 to qualify as an investment advisor representative. Passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam in 2008 and completed the remaining certification requirements in 2009 to become a CFP® professional. Joined the Financial Planner Association in 2010.
